The History

Psychocybin Recordings was founded in late 2013 by Psyoptic (f.k.a. Megatronus X) at the age of 17 in South Florida; at the time was entirely made up of artists local to SoFlo. In 2015, Psychocybin Recordings artists purged their music catalog in a process formally known as the RIP (Restart In Progress); an evolution planned to trigger the growth needed to go from teenagers making noise to professional level musicians and producers, whilst simultaneously creating what would evolve into a world-renowned record label. Psychocybin relaunched after the RIP and has continued to grow at an exponential rate, reaching deep into the the furthest corners of multiverse by releasing tracks that push the limits of bass music, throwing shows that defy the norm, and curating real culture.

Psychocybin Recordings maintains an open submission email so that new and emerging artists always have a chance to join the ranks with these pioneers of bass music. Think you’ve got what it takes to to drop with the label?
